Commodities quotes

Normally, if you are a trader you will likely want to check Commodities quotes and examine charts. There are several free sources online where you can check delayed or real-time quotes and charts.

Barchart.com is one, there is also futuresource.com and many others, nonetheless, I am adding here quotes for you, so that you can continue your journey here at Futures Trading How To without having to go elsewhere to check how the market is trading right now.

Just to make something clear for people who are getting started in trading...

There are two types of commodities quotes:

  1. Delayed futures quotes which are typically 20 minutes behind real-time prices. Most free futures quotes services use delayed quotes.
  2. Real-time quotes which are prices where the market is currently trading - hence the term, real-time. Most services will charge you a fee for real time quotes.

Normally a discount futures broker will offer you a futures trading software where you can have real-time quotes in your charting platform. Be sure to ask very well about prices and services that you can get from your broker. Also remember to examine its clearing firm if it is an IB or Introducing Broker.

I will leave you with quotes in case you want to check them out in futures markets.

First I must congratulate you on a very successful and useful site. It is practical and really helps to trade with confidence. Excellent work. Trust me when I say this...

I have gone through thousands of sites before I came across your work and indeed it is commendable. I have one question for you. After drawing support and resistance lines on the 30 and 5 minute chart, do you then focus on a 2 minute chart and take your trades based on candlestick patterns?

    Robby from Indonesia.

WOW, very very good materials. I've been studying market profile and supply and demand for about 2 years now. So far, I found the materials in your website to be very generous.
